Canon updates SELPHY printer line

Chris Scott Barr - May 10, 2007

If you love to print out your own 4×6 pictures from your digital camera, Canon has updated their SELPHY line of 4×6 printers that might be worth checking out.

If your camera doesn’t automatically fix red-eye don’t worry, Canon’s CP750 and CP740 will take care of that for you. The new models also boast better skin tone reproduction, new printing modes and larger LCD screens. They will accept just about any media that you plug in, including MMCplus, MMCmobile, microSDHC and MMCmicro.

On the outside the CP750 differs from the CP740 because of its color and 2.4” screen, rather than a 2.0”. But the real difference is the inclusion of support for IrSimple and IrDA transfer which will allow you to print from mobile devices that have IR ports. You can also pick up Bluetooth adapters for either model.
