Custom Computers, Apple Devices And Ecosystem, Custom Mechanical Keyboards
- Joe grew up in a household of makers and teachers, and it was perhaps fated that one day he would also take up the mantle of service journalism.
- After reviewing Input Club's original WhiteFox mechanical keyboard in 2018, he dove into the rabbit hole of custom mechanical keyboards, a journey he may never recover from financially, but at least his fingers are happy.
- Thanks to an obsession with onomatopoeia, he can debate the best words to describe mechanical keyboard sounds, car doors, or audiophile-level headphones.
Experience
From a childhood filled with a desire to figure out how things worked, Joe has a lifetime of training in explaining complicated technology in the simplest of terms. He came late to writing professionally, which just means he's got a lifetime of experience explaining things for free. If it comes with batteries, he's probably used it at one time or another. His hobbies include gaming, PC water-cooling, and researching the next new thing in tech.
Education
Joe attended The University of Sheffield, swapping the clean rooms of an Electronics Engineering degree for a career in logistics management after two years.
