Jack's love for cars began when he watched Fernando Alonso win his first Formula One championship. He has been obsessed with the automotive industry ever since.
Working from home for the last two years has led him to search constantly for new gear to add to his gaming/workstation, so he is well-versed in home technology and the latest smart home devices.
His college studies allowed him to explore the world of production, gaining extensive hands-on experience with equipment such as cameras, sound recording technology, and editing software.

Jack's professional writing career began in 2023, producing content for the entertainment-focused outlet MovieWeb and, more recently, contributing feature articles for Collider. Shortly after his time at MovieWeb, he became an automotive writer for Top Speed, covering all corners of the industry in detail. He mainly focused on pickup trucks, SUVs, performance cars, and the latest news from the world of electric vehicles. In 2025, he joined SlashGear as a features writer.

Jack has an extended diploma in creative media and technology from Northampton College.
