- Cristina has blogged and written for eight years, about every aspect of video games, entertainment (movies, TV and music), and Internet culture.
- She has spent the last five years as a video game journalist from her sunny yet bipolar home of South Florida, being well-versed in not just console games but mobile games as well.
- She has written news and feature articles about the latest developments in the video game industry, gaming culture, and the Twitter discourse surrounding it, along with appearing on podcasts, and has ambitions to appear in front of a camera in the future.
Experience
As an autistic woman hailing from South Florida, Cristina's writing skills combined with her love of video games, entertainment, and technology led her to a career in journalism. She has worked in traditional journalism at a news station in Miami and in freelance journalism at Twinfinite, TheGamer, and Gamepur from the comfort of her home since 2019. After a couple years in the former field, Cristina decided that the latter gives her more creative freedom and time to research trends in gaming, entertainment and Internet culture. Joining SlashGear now gives Cristina the bandwidth to cover all those topics and more.
Education
Cristina holds a Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) in Multimedia Studies
