• Craig witnessed BMW unveil its Vision iNEXT concept in Los Angeles, marveled at Jaguar's E-Type Zero in London, and reviewed cars from every major marque over the last decade and a half, whether testing the Ford Focus in Madrid's wine country or the BMW i8 on mountain passes in Cape Town.
• He's test-driven the three-wheeled Toyota i-Road around the streets of Grenoble, and ridden roller coasters to test the first Fitbits with heart-rate tracking in Johannesburg.
• His first self-driving car ride was in a Ford prototype at the company's Dearborn, Michigan, campus in 2016.

From electric vehicles and e-bikes to e-scooters, electric unicycles, and monowheels, Craig loves automotive and personal mobility technology. As a seasoned journalist, he edited the 112-page monthly magazine Stuff for five years, covering the full spectrum of consumer technology. He has additional bylines with PCMag, Input, Time, Financial Mail, the Sunday Times, and more. Craig has become an expert on fitness and wearable tech, smart home products (especially lighting), fintech solutions, and 360-degree cameras. He believes you should always opt for the most storage you can afford, every light should be dimmable, and the best smartphone ever made was the iPhone 4s (in white).

Education

Craig holds a bachelor's degree in English literature and philosophy from the University of the Witwatersrand.
