The brand known at the moment as "Ferrari by Logic3" have revealed their next-generation Bluetooth-connected speaker dock, the GT1, ready for action at CES 2013. This machine is a high-powered 2.2.1 speaker system works with an integrated 6.5-inch subwoofer, works with Class HD patented technology for high efficiency delivery of "ultimate power", as they say, and you've got a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) built-in as well. A DSP, in this case, is described as a feature giving you control over the crossover and equalization of the music so you're able to create a "natural musical tone".

Today Logic3 announced that its launching its Cavallino T350 headphones and Scuderia FS1 Bluetooth speaker dock worldwide. Both look pretty sleek, but with that unmistakable Ferrari branding, both will also cost a pretty penny.

Last week, I mentioned that Ferrari was going to be auctioning off the first F12berlinetta in the United States at the inaugural US Grand Prix held in Austin, Texas. The vehicle is being auctioned off with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross to help with Hurricane Sandy relief. The auction for the car brought well over $1 million.

The car is set to officially debuted in the United States in the first quarter of 2013 at a price starting at $315,888. The car uses a V12 engine under the hood that is naturally aspirated.

Apple exec Eddy Cue has joined Ferrari's board of directors, with the famous Italian car company saying the web services expert will help the marque with its internet savvy. Cue - who has owned a Ferrari for the past five years - was announced as an addition to the team today, with Ferrari's chairman describing him as "of the the main driving forces" in pushing Apple's product envelope.

Pininfarina passed on Tuesday aged 85, it's reported, having begun his career as a mechanical engineer but finding real fame with his incredible eye for detail and lines as well as an early recognition of the important of aerodynamics.
