Sources close the development of Warner Bros. Suicide Squad movie have tipped that Oscar winner and musician Jared Leto is being eyed to play The Joker in the DC comic book adaptation. Currently scheduled for release in August 2016, Suicide Squad sees a group of supervillains tasked by the government in an opportunity to right their past wrongs by taking on missions that may cost them their lives.
Will Arnett’s LEGO Batman has apparently taken the place of all other Batmans as the most beloved toy-selling Batman in modernity. This became apparent this week when it was revealed that The LEGO Movie 2 - sequel to the highly popular 2014 LEGO Movie - will be pushed back in favor of a LEGO Batman spin-off. No, not THAT Batman made of LEGO, but this newer, funnier LEGO Batman. Will Arnett's Batman - ready to command another movie all his own. We can only hope that Jim Carrey will return for another Riddler.
