Disney has teased what Star Wars fans have long been demanding: an augmented reality game that allows you to wield your own lightsaber. Previewed at D23, Disney's annual expo, Star Wars: Jedi Challenges combines an AR headset with a smartphone app and a number of games. While details are in short supply right now, there are already several hints at just what the system could do.
Not all smartphones are created equal. That pretty much is a fact of the mobile life. Sometimes, even those with the same name can differ in features, depending on the region. Just like the LG G6 with its Quad DAC enabled Korean model and wireless charging US model. It seems that Sony has followed suit but in a potentially more confusing way. Available in the US via Amazon or Best Buy, the Xperia XA1 Ultra supports 4G LTE networks in general, but only one of those will work with US bands.

The Galaxy S8 has been available for a few weeks now, but in the US, you can really only get one if you're willing to purchase through a specific carrier. That's all going to change later this month, as Samsung is preparing to roll out carrier unlocked versions of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. When the phone arrives, it'll be available at Best Buy and through Samsung's own online store.
Just a heads up if you're still trying to get your hands on an NES Classic Edition: Best Buy will says it will have "limited quantites" in stock at stores today. This restock comes a couple of weeks after Nintendo officially pulled the plug on the NES Classic Edition, announcing that retailers would be getting their final shipments throughout the rest of April. Given the date, it's very likely that these will be the last NES Classics Best Buy will receive.
Back at MWC 2017, Samsung finally pulled the veil back on the Galaxy Tab S3. Thanks to a number of rumors before this reveal, we knew the tablet was coming, but it was nice to get confirmation nonetheless. It looks like Facebook is paring back its retail push for the Oculus VR. With demo stations currently set up in 500 Best Buy stores, Facebook was in a pretty good position to get customers sampling the VR headset for themselves. Now we're hearing that Facebook will be shutting down around 200 of those booths because they're underperforming.
