Comic-Con 2015 isn't just an excuse for awesome cosplay and meeting stars, it's also brought a new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer. The hotly-anticipated superhero movie picks up where the last Superman film left off, with the trailer giving not only a glimpse at new characters like Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, but some insight into just why Batman is so angry at the Man of Steel.
The launch of Batman: Arkham Knight was a disaster, at least for PC owners. Now it might be even more of a PR disaster for publisher Warner Bros. Although the company issued an apology to owners and fans after pulling the game out of sales, it seems it might just be a well-worded cover up. Numerous sources, including the games' testers, are now saying that Warner Bros. was fully aware of the issues that the PC version faced, but decided to ship it at the same time anyway.
Games being delayed because of last minute showstoppers are nothing new. In fact, they have almost become expected. But games being suspended almost immediately after launch is definitely not a common occurrence. So when the PC version of a high profile, highly anticipated title like Batman: Arkham Knight gets pulled from shelves just days after its launch, you can bet that something is terribly wrong. And that is exactly what Warner Bros. Interactive is admitting to on Steam when it announced on Steam that it is halting PC sales until issues are ironed out.
The next Batman v Superman movie will be arriving in 2016, and ahead of that launch its batmobile has made its official debut. Such was expected, with the debut happening more or less the way it did with the first Batman v Superman movie -- if you need a refresher, you can check out that batmobile here. The newest iteration of Batman's vehicle looks somewhat the same -- you can definitely see the similarities, which are arguably greater than the differences. The latest one is, though, its own beast.
Earlier this week Zack Snyder confirmed that the Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer would be launching soon, but someone else trumped his claim and leaked the trailer even sooner. It had hard-coded foreign language subtitles and was in exceptionally poor quality, and Warner Bros. moved to get the video pulled down quickly. As with all things on the Internet, though, a handful of copies would appear every time a copy was pulled, and so the studio did what many before it have elected to do: officially released the trailer sooner than it had originally planned.
Well that was quick. A day after Zack Snyder officially confirmed when the official trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would launch, the full trailer of the film has already been leaked days ahead of its debut. Warner Bros' legal department will definitely have a field day with this one, but nothing on the Internet is ever forgotten, which could be well and good for those eager to get a glimpse of what is expected to be one of if not the biggest superhero versus battles in recent memory.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will be premiering next week, but let's not forget about the xpected blockbuster hit that will pit DC's most iconic superheroes against each other. And as if to somewhat douse some cold water over Marvel fans' fiery excitement, Zack Snyder has confirmed on Twitter that the very first trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be screened at IMAX on the 20th of April. And to make you really, really want to be there to see it, Snyder offers a totally non-revealing clip as well.
If you dream of spending your nights prowling the streets on the lookout for ne'er-do-wells, those dreams just got a little more real (but still aren't advisable): a designer has created a Batsuit that is able to withstand the combat situations a real-life Batman might get himself into, including assaults with blades and punches to the body. It isn't quite as stylish as the latest theatrical Batman suit, and you're not going to be repelling down buildings with it, but it is impressive nonetheless.
Sony has announced the new Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Batman: Arkham Knight bundle. With the bundle comes a Steel Grey PS4 console decked out with a partial silhouette of Batman and a subtle emblem reading out the name of the game. A controller with the same steel grey color is included with the bundle, as well as the expected game. That's not the only bundle Sony will be offering, however; it has a second similar one up its sleeve, only for a lower price point and with less flashy designs for those who find that option more preferable.
Everyone's favorite villains are here, ready to take on Batman in the next game - Arkham Knight. This game is another ending to a trilogy - the Rocksteady Batman: Arkham trilogy. You might remember Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Origins, but only two of those titles were from the same creative team. Here's the third. We've seen different replicas of movie cars, including the Batmobile, some of which have been more functional than others. Sometimes you have to think a bit smaller, though, when it comes to a child with a love of Batman, the latter of which being the inspiration for the latest Super-fan Builds project: a Batmobile baby stroller. It is modeled after the Batmobile tumbler vehicle complete with all the sharp angles and beastly base, and includes things like a steel frame for reinforcement and, of course, a handle for the parents to push.
There have been a number of Batmobiles over the history of Batman's career, with the latest including the tank-like model from Christopher Nolan's trilogy, as well as the forthcoming model from Zack Snyder's upcoming movie. But now there is an opportunity to own the very first officially-licensed Batman vehicle, predating even the Lincoln that was used in the classic 1960's TV show.
