BMW and Nissan have joined forces to take on Tesla's Supercharger network, installing new electric car chargers at 120 locations across the US. The stations, which will be capable of recharging a Nissan Leaf or BMW i3 to 80-percent in 20-30 minutes, span nineteen states, though they'll also be of interest to drivers of other electric cars.

Karma Automotive, formerly known as Fisker Automotive, has announced a new business deal with BMW that will have the latter supplying Karma with various electric car tech. This includes EV systems and hybrid system, as well as high-voltage battery charging systems. Karma announced the news on Thursday, praising BMW for the quality of its parts while teasing that it will be bringing “a stunning car back to the market.” The first of BMW’s supplied parts will be put in Karma’s plug-in hybrid flagship model.
MINI has offered up some images and details on the all-new MINI convertible ahead of the official launch of the car in Tokyo. The new convertible will hit dealerships next March and will come in Cooper and Cooper S versions.
