Star Wars Battlefront sequel slated for fall 2017 release

Electronic Arts hasn't finished rolling out DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront yet, but that's not stopping the company from talking about the next game in the series. Speaking during a call to investors, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen told an inquiring analyst that the sequel to 2015's Battlefront reboot will arrive "a year from now." That seems to heavily suggest a fall 2017 release window.

Small Star Wars drones are big in speed and price

Small Star Wars drones are big in speed and price

Star Wars and drones are almost the perfect mix, but very few have actually turned that into a commercially available dream come true. Sure, there are a few DIYs here and there, but few, if not none, you can buy off the shelf. Well, consider those prayers answered, at least partially, as Propel kicks off pre-orders for its Star Wars Battle Drones. They don’t only look like the real thing (almost), they are also half-decent but somewhat small drones that can travel at a max of 35 mph.

Sphero BB-8 Force Band Review : Star Wars’ top wearable

Sphero BB-8 Force Band Review : Star Wars’ top wearable

Sphero's Force Band for BB-8 is the best example of going above-and-beyond the call of duty I've ever seen in a Star Wars toy. And I've seen a lot of Star Wars toys. While there are some mightily impressive action figures out there - some with details so striking, I can barely tell model from real life - this Force Band for the BB-8 by Sphero amplifies the Star Wars magic already present in BB-8 by Sphero, a device we maintain is the Best Star Wars Toy Ever Made.

Star Wars R2-D2 coffee press is the preorder your morning needs

Star Wars R2-D2 coffee press is the preorder your morning needs

There’s no shortage of Star Wars kitchen supplies; they span all sorts of gizmos, things like the X-Wing knife block and a dinner timer. Arguably the greatest among them all, though, is a new R2-D2 coffee press that has gone up for preorder. This coffee press looks like a miniature -- though still somewhat large -- R2-D2, only with a clear body rather than a white one. That inner empty space can hold up to 32 ounces of brewed coffee.

Star Wars Rogue One Director Krennic’s Shuttle LEGO Review

Behold, the LEGO Empire's award for Best Dressed in pre-Yavin attire goes to none other than Director Krennic. He'll be arriving in his all-black shuttle to emphasize his white outfit - and cape, of course. This vehicle should remind any hardcore Star Wars fan of the Emperor's own shuttle - and several other three-winged beasts made for only the most powerful of Imperial agents.
