Pioneer has just announced their latest Blu-ray player for your PC. Sadly, while it does have the ability to burn regular CDs and DVDs, it lacks the ability to burn Blu-ray disks.

New Pioneer Laptop Has Quad Core Inside

The DreamBook Power D90 SLI is a 17” laptop with a 1920×1680 WUXGA display. The processors range from a Core 2 Duo E4300 at 1.8Ghz all the way up to the Core 2 Extreme X6800 2.93Ghz quad core processor.

Pioneer’s latest satellite radio PMP reviewed

Subscription radio is not something that’s taken off over here in the UK, but if you’re in the US then there’s plenty of choice if you don’t like free-to-air FM or tire easily of what’s on your PMP.  The Gadgeteer’s Rob Tillotson has been trying out a chunky little XM receiver made by Pioneer, the inno, and has found that if you’re looking for a compromise between rocking your own tunes and sampling a bit of the mobile XM life then the portable device might be for you.

Pioneer announced 2 new HDD and DVD media recorders with 250GB to 400GB storage space, and 2 new 3-in-1 media recorders with VHS, HDD, and DVD recorder. Those who always run out of space recording shows should be happy to hear that Pioneer and Buffalo is partnering up together to develop external HDD storage (HDD-S400) to increase recording space on these recorders. The DVR-DT95 and DVR-DT75 are the only units with digital tuner and capabilities to record HD programs.
