Pioneer has launched a new pair of earbuds equipped with a Lightning connector, the Pioneer Rayz and Rayz Plus. The latter of the two models addresses a critical problem for some iPhone owners, allowing the owner to both listen to audio through the earbuds and charge the handset at the same time. This is made possible via a slim in-line port on the earbuds’ cable to which a Lightning charging cable can be connected.

Pioneer just revealed world’s first 4K Blu-ray PC drive

It’s a 4K age these days. We’ve got 4K video streaming, 4K TVs, 4K monitors, 4K consoles, and, if you’re a Sony fan, even 4K smartphones. What we don’t have yet are 4K PCs, that is, PCs capable of reading and writing 4K content into 4K-compatible discs. That all changes with Pioneer’s introduction of two new Blu-ray drives meant for computers and computers alone. Not only are they able to read from Ultra HD Blu-ray discs, they can also write into BD-R discs for safe keeping.

Android Auto might be a tough thing to find on the dashboard of most modern cars, but the first aftermarket upgrades are finally hitting shelves. Pioneer has the first replacement head-units supporting Android Auto (and, for that matter, Apple's CarPlay), with sales beginning in the US, UK, and Australia. Today at CES, Pioneer and Kenwood both released some interesting new products aimed at getting your car up-to-date.
