Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's been quite some time since we last saw a new movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe release. With COVID-19 vaccines rolling out around the world, we're going to see that change later this year, as Disney and Marvel release a handful of new MCU movies rapid-fire. First up is Black Widow this July, but following closely behind it will be Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Disney and Marvel seem to have net themselves solid reception to their first two Disney+ shows - WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - and next up, we're looking at the premiere of Loki in June. Loki today received its first full-length trailer, setting the stage for the TV show and what it will entail, at least in the first season. It looks like we're once again in for a time-bending plot, as Disney and Marvel have confirmed that Loki will deal with the title character's actions in Avengers: Endgame.

Movies come and go but some seem to be able to rake in sales time and time again. That is if they get the chance to be shown again in cinemas years after its original premiere. That's the lucky break that James Cameron's Avatar was able to enjoy over the weekend when it was re-released in China's theaters, helping it beat the titleholder, 2019 superhero finale, Marvel's Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel Comics "M.O.D.O.K." is an adult-oriented television show that'll be released on HULU. But it's a superhero show, right? Why won't it be released on Disney+? Because Disney+ isn't aimed at adults, it's made to be almost entirely kid-friendly, while HULU has the freedom to release programs for ALL ages. Also, fun fact: Disney owns Hulu.

After three separate teases from Spider-Man's main cast were published yesterday, it seems that we finally have a title for the third MCU Spider-Man movie. While Zendaya, Tom Holland, and Jacob Batalon respectively revealed the titles Spider-Man: Home Slice, Spider-Man: Phone Home, and Spider-Man: Homewrecker yesterday, it turns out that none of those are the film's actual title.

It seems Thanos may be making a return to the Fortnite battle royale island, at least based on a new leak, perhaps making him the best hunter brought to the game's dimension. The potential discovery was spied by a game data miner in the most recent update's code, revealing an upcoming 'XL' skin -- a category that has only ever applied to Thanos.

WandaVision, which premiered in January, had people talking about superhero flicks again, whether good or bad. Of course, it's common knowledge by now that it wasn't supposed to be Marvel's first Phase 4 drop but that still miraculously worked out in its favor. It won't be the only one for long, though, as Marvel pretty much reminds everyone with a serving of a new trailer for buddy-cop mini-series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier at Super Bowl.

The first three episodes of WandaVision on Disney+ were fun, magical, and mysterious. The brand NEW sort of format these episodes were delivered in made them a delight. They ran wild with the sweet spot between taking these superheroes seriously and putting them in situations that are unexpected and funny. Then they wrecked it.

The first two episodes (and presumably the rest) are jam packed full of clues about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you read the comics, you'll recognize some possibilities for some of the characters. If you read basically any Marvel Comic in the latter half of the year 1996, you'll remember a universe-wide series of events that could very well be mirrored here in 2021 with WandaVision and the fallout after Avengers: Endgame. But it won't.
