Viewsonic has added four new LCD monitors to its product portfolio. The first three are widescreen display modeled VA1926w (19"), VA2026w(20"), and the VA2226w (22", 21.6" viewable), while the VA926 (19") monitor is a 4:3 format display.

ViewSonic shows off 3 new monitors

Today ViewSonic unveiled 3 new monitors in their VA Series. The monitors are being shown at the National Education Computing Conference this week in Atlanta Georgia.


ViewSonic’s New Rugged Handhelds

When speaking of ViewSonic, we think of monitors, but apparently they have ventured out into the handheld computer field as well. They have just announced the release of the three new rugged handhelds, the V38r-06, V38r-07, and V38r-07a. They are meant for a wide gamut of industries and meet IP54 design standards for sealing against dust, mositure, and extreme environmental conditions. They sport 3.5-inch 240×320 LCD displays, 520MHZ Intel Xscale processor, SD card slot, and hot swappable Lithium Ion batteries, meaning they wont shutdown or lose data when changing batteries. The premier models V38r-07 and 07a also feature 802.11b/g wireless, Bluetooth, barcode scanner, 1.3 megapixel camera, fingerprint sensor, and GPS support. Price ranges from $1,600 to $2000.
