Happy Tuesday, everyone. As we venture on into the seventh month of the year, a lot of stories made headlines today. So, to start things off, here’s an interesting Apple update – iPad mini and iPhone 5 pre-production models appear in China. Although, Google might put the pressure on early – Nexus 7 might hit retail this Thursday. And let’s look at Microsoft’s news for good measure – Microsoft prepares to roll out new Windows-based cloud systems.

Featured: So we have a nice, healthy selection of featured stories today. For starters, here’s an interesting product analysis – Small Sonos: Is multi-room music overkill in a tiny apartment? Oh, and you absolutely have to check this out, whether or not you like comic books – Martin Sheen and Sally Field talk Amazing Spider-Man with SlashGear. And the other featured story for today – Google released for iPad: we go hands-on.

MacBook, Ouya, & Square Enix: So as we wrap up the other big stories from today, we’ll start with this – Retina MacBook Pro 13-inch appears in Geekbench. But if you’re more an Android guy than an Apple guy, this will be more up your alley – Ouya Android console breaks $1m Kickstarter in hours. And finally, speaking of video games – Square Enix: Sony and Microsoft making a big mistake by sticking with current-gen.
