There are some much-loved games coming to Switch this week, so if you missed them on other platforms, now is a good chance to check them out.

Nintendo Switch Online release date finally revealed

By this point, it seems we know pretty much everything we need to know about Nintendo Switch Online, save for one key detail: its release date. Back in August, Nintendo said that Switch Online would launch sometime in the second half of September 2018, but beyond that, it didn't get any more specific. That all changed today, as Nintendo finally gave Switch Online an actual release date.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is heading to PS4 and Nintendo Switch

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is heading to PS4 and Nintendo Switch

Those of you who remember Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will likely remember it as a quirky offshoot of the mainline series that made some bold multiplayer decisions. The game launched as an exclusive for the Nintendo Gamecube back in 2003, and it featured four-player co-operative play, which was strange enough for the Final Fantasy series. Even stranger was what was required if you wanted to dive into that multiplayer mode, as each player needed their own Game Boy Advance.

Civilization VI is coming to Nintendo Switch

The Switch has proven to be a popular platform for ports of existing games, with many publishers bringing their bigger titles over to the system. Today we can add 2K Games to the list, as it's announced a Switch version of Civilization VI.

Best Buy has a tempting Nintendo Switch bundle deal for a short time

Since the Switch is still a relatively new console that's selling well, we haven't seen very many discounts on it. The ones we do see usually come in the form of some sort of bundle deal, which might stick you with accessories or games you don't really want. Best Buy has a new bundle deal of its own on offer currently, but this time around, you get to pick the game it comes with.

Another Nintendo Direct, this time for Switch and 3DS, is coming tomorrow

Nintendo has been going hard lately. Shortly before Gamescom, the company debuted a new video highlighting a number of indie games coming to Switch, then a week later, it hosted an Nindies Showcase for summer 2018 to show off even more indie games. As if that weren't enough, the company last week premiered a Nintendo Direct dedicated entirely to its new mobile game, Dragalia Lost, and now another Nintendo Direct has been scheduled for this week. Apparently, there's a lot to talk about in the world of Nintendo games.
