Sushi Striker is a delightful game that launched at an awful time

Sushi Striker is a delightful game that launched at an awful time

The Nintendo Switch has a big six months ahead of it, and that period was kicked off by the release of Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido earlier in the month. Co-developed by Nintendo EPD and indieszero, Sushi Striker definitely isn't the first-party fare we've come to expect from Nintendo over the years, but that didn't stop it from turning some heads when it was revealed back at E3 2017. Sushi Striker is every bit as good as those pre-launch trailers suggested it would be, but the problem is that it launched at a really bad time, especially considering that it's the first game in a new franchise.

Nintendo Switch pirates beware: you could be banned for life

The Nintendo Switch is one of the most innovative gaming consoles to launch of late but, like any gaming device, it isn’t immune to one of the entertainment industry’s biggest problem: piracy. Many companies have tried different methods of fighting or discouraging piracy, often at the expense of inconveniencing legit users. Nintendo, however, may have come up with a nearly foolproof method that would ban such pirates from playing games online or even ban them from Nintendo Network for good.

Nintendo E3 sale for Switch, 3DS is a rare treat

Nintendo E3 sale for Switch, 3DS is a rare treat

Nintendo is traditionally seen as a slow-moving company, slow to change and slow to jump on new trends. The Nintendo Switch is probably the most radical move it made in years and now it's making yet another one. Nintendo is having a sale for digital Switch and 3DS games. Admittedly it's not a huge list with huge discounts but, considering how rare this happens, you might want to grab a title or two if you were planning on buying them anyway.
