Just as it happened when the price of Bitcoin VS USD nearly met 20k, now here once again, there's a bit of a hurdle. After Bitcoin went over 19K USD, it tumbled down to $6k. Now not long after that trip, the price is rumbling back up over $9k.
Cryptocurrency mining fever is behind GPU shortages and increased prices, leaving many PC gamers unhappy, but that reality could be changing soon. According to sources, Bitmain is planning to launch Ethereum ASIC Miner F3 with 72GB of DDR3 DRAM. This flipped bit of text suggests that the user is being sent an image file, for example - but in reality, the file is anything but. In an example given this morning by the folks at Kaspersky Lab at Secure List, a user might send a PNG file, but when it's accessed, it becomes an executable javascript file - of the malicious sort.
