NVIDIA wraps up GAME24

This past month NVIDIA threw the first global celebration for PC Gamers. What the heck does that mean? It's simple, really, they scheduled several events in key cities around the world and kept broadcasts of games and gaming events going for one full 24-hour period.

Physical events took place in Shanghai, London, Los Angeles, Chicago, Indianapolis, Mission Viejo, and Stockholm. People tuned in from 149 countries, and NVIDIA suggests there was a total audience of 1.32 million people. NVIDIA also pumped $50k into the group Donate Games aimed at fighting cancer.

Of course one of the main goals for this event series was to highlight NVIDIA's newest graphics processing architecture in Maxwell and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 and 970. Have a peek at our NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Review and the article Developing NVIDIA Maxwell: the cooler bits for more detail.
