Thunderbolt leaks again: Light Peak for 15-inch MacBook Pro

Another shot of the new Apple MacBook Pro complete with the Apple Thunderbolt port has leaked, this time showing the 15-inch version of the notebook with the new Light Peak connector. Seen earlier today as an in-the-wild shot as well as on printed material about the 13-inch refreshed notebook, the image appears to have been snapped of an Apple online product page.

The connector – which resembles a Mini DisplayPort socket – is expected to grant new, high-speed data transfers to the updated MacBook Pro line. It will also double as an external graphics output, presumably using a bundled adapter cable.

Apple is expected to make the new MacBook Pro range official tomorrow, Thursday February 24. Intel is also scheduled to make a Light Peak announcement on the same day, so we're guessing we'll hear more about Thunderbolt's technical capabilities then.
