Samsung teased "A Galaxy Event" set to take place on October 11th, 2018. Today we're going to suss out what it'll likely include. Since the event suggests that this will be a Galaxy device, we'll assume either smartphone or tablet - even though we've seen other Galaxy-named devices in the past (like the Galaxy Camera.) With rumors of its foldable smartphone continuing to swirl, Samsung has decided to go in a completely different direction by announcing two mid-range devices for the US. Today, Samsung announced that the Galaxy A6 smartphone and the Galaxy Tab A 10.5-inch tablet, which have both debuted in other regions already, will arrive Stateside later this month. Obviously, being mid-range devices, they don't really have the hardware to compete with Samsung's flagship phones and tablets, but the trade-off is that you won't be paying $1000 for the privilege of owning one.
