What you’re looking at – behind phoneArena’s dare-we-say-it slightly “overenthusiastic” watermark – is Samsung’s upcoming U450 QWERTY slider, the phone tipped by Best Buy to land on Verizon come August 23rd. The U450 apparently has both a QWERTY keyboard and a front-mounted numeric pad, together with a 1.3-megapixel camera according to their source.

There’s also an MP3 player, Bluetooth and a compact display; this seems to be Verizon’s latest attempt to corner the entry-level messaging market. No word on display size, storage capacity or anything else, but the Samsung U450 is apparently already showing up in the carrier’s software upgrade system.
Meanwhile there’s a second leaked picture to chew over, this time of the Samsung Rogue U960. That too has had an August 23rd tipped date from Best Buy, though in this case the image we’re seeing is a little different to the previous (clearer) leaked images. The front panel buttons have changed, though there’s no telling which picture is newer; still, it looks like we’ll only have until the weekend to wait to find out.
