Pre-Order Pre-Loads Live On PlayStation 4

It's become apparent that the console war won't just be fought on a gaming front – nor will it just be about media. Instead, as we're seeing today, it'll be about loading games, downloading titles before they launch, and making certain you're the first person to have said game when it launches officially. The PlayStation 4 will soon have pre-loads right on top of pre-orders for a number of games.

The first title to launch with pre-loading will be Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. This game launches on June 24th, and will be pre-loaded starting the moment you pre-order. The following list of games and DLC will be doing the same, complete with a countdown timer so you'll know how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds are left before you can play.

Pre-loading games will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 immediately if not soon. Any titles you pre-order are pre-set to pre-load automatically when you purchase them, just so long as your PlayStation 4 is not shut down completely.

Note that The Last Of Us is not available for Pre-Order now, but is able to add to cart. This is because this game is being "handled" a bit differently from the rest, according to Sony, and won't be available for pre-load.
