LG G6 is now available in the US: free Google Home included

LG Electronics' newest flagship Android smartphone, the LG G6, is now available to consumers in the United States. Buyers can grab the handset for the four big carriers — Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint — as well as a U.S. Cellular model. Best Buy is also offering the handset if you prefer to buy from the big blue retailer rather than through a carrier. Those who get the handset will also receive a free Google Home device.LG G6 Review: The display is the key

The LG G6 is a large phone with a notable 5.7-inch 18:9 aspect ratio QHD+ FullVision Display — that's a 2880 x 1440 resolution with a 564ppi.

Under the hood lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, and around back there's a dual 13-megapixel camera setup with optical image stabilization and a wide angle lens (for one of the cameras). Check out our review for all the details.

If you can't wait to get your hands on the phone, now's your change. LG makes it easy to get the phone for your particular carrier via its website, where links for each carrier + Best Buy are provided. Price depends on the carrier/store. Best Buy shows both $24/month and $28/month options, for example, depending on whether you buy the phone with a 24-month or 30-month payment term.

Regardless of which store/carrier you buy the phone through, LG is offering a limited time promotion and will give buyers a free Google Home device to go with the phone. Google Home is a device akin to Amazon's Echo; users are able to interact with its Google Assistant using voice commands, among other things. Not familiar with the device? We've got all the info you need here.
