Galaxy Note 7 release date carriers leaked by FCC

This morning the folks at the FCC have let it be known that a whole bunch of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices will be released very soon. In their latest certification of said devices, they've revealed the codes SM-N930V, SM-N930A, SM-N930P, SM-N930T, SM-N930R4, and SM-N930W8. These codes correspond to Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and a couple of outliers. These can be connected to the Unlocked trend Samsung seems to be ready to join in on, as evidenced by the Galaxy S7 Unlocked release this June.

What we're hoping Samsung will do is release their unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 right at the same time as launch for all other carriers in the United States. With the Qualcomm chip inside the Galaxy S7, the following could be achieved – you can expect at least as much in the Galaxy Note 7.

The USA-aimed carrier editions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 have been tipped to be rolling with the latest in Qualcomm processor technology. That means each carrier edition of this phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, if sources prove reliable. Outside of the United States, Samsung will very likely be releasing the Galaxy Note 7 with their own Samsung Exynos 8893 SoC.

Samsung's event for the Galaxy Note 7 will be taking place on the 2nd of August. If history's clues are any indicator, we'll see the device released within a week or two after reveal.
