According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), if satisfaction is one of your primary concerns, you should probably have a look at refrigerators bearing the Whirlpool logo.

Indeed, Whirlpool refrigerators earned Best in Class honors from the ACSI in its 2025 customer satisfaction study, with the outlet awarding the brand a score of 84. Those numbers are based on data collected by ACSI concerning cost, operation, smart features, and customer service experience. The final tabulations ultimately ranked Whirlpool fridges above several other surveyed brands, including some of the most reliable home appliance brands, such as Samsung and LG.

Per the numbers provided by the American Customer Satisfaction Index, Whirlpool appliances were rated well in every category in the 2025 satisfaction study, slotting into a tie with Samsung by way of an overall score of 82. Per ACSI, however, that number is down a point from 2024, when Whirlpool appliances sat atop the list alone with a score of 83. As for LG, the South Korean brand placed third in overall appliance satisfaction with a score of 81.

Circling back to the Whirlpool brand, refrigerators are not the only appliances bearing that logo that earned customer satisfaction honors from ACSI. In fact, Whirlpool devices also placed atop the over-the-range microwave category and the clothes dryer category, earning scores of 85 and 82, respectively, in those sectors. In the clothes dryer category, Whirlpool is not alone in the top spot, with Samsung devices also earning a score of 82.

According to ACSI, if you're in the market for a new dishwasher that's highly rated for customer satisfaction, there are two brands worth looking at. Those brands are Bosch and LG, which tied for top honors with a score of 82 each. Meanwhile, consumers who are looking to bring a new range into their kitchen might be surprised to learn that GE subsidiary Haier earned top marks in that category, doing so with a score of 83. Finally, shoppers in need of a washing machine might want to consider purchasing an LG device, as it earned a score of 84 in the 2025 ACSI customer satisfaction survey.
