Xbox Live is down (sort of), it’s not just you

This afternoon you may be having trouble connecting to your best buddies on Xbox Live with your Xbox One or Xbox 360. You are not alone. There’s a service disruption going on that started a bit after mid-day that continues through to the time this article is first posted.

The service disruption to Xbox Live has hit two games in particular. Both Titanfall and Forza Motorsport 5 appear to be having issues with matchmaking, of particular importance to the former due to its online-only gameplay setup. Respawn Entertainment have also reminded us that these services move through to the desktop iteration of their game as the whole matchmaking system is linked through Microsoft’s Azure cloud services.

Above you’ll see some footage from the latest updates to the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC versions of Titanfall. This is Expedition, and we’ve got a full review to peek at if you like as well.

Watch out for the unstable handshake. Below you’ll also find a clip to watch while you’re waiting for Titanfall to come back online. This is the latest in a line of Live Action Movie Clips from a Titanfall-themed series being released by Respawn Entertainment.

Have a peek at SlashGear’s Titanfall Review in all its epic glory and hang around for more Titanfall as we continue to follow through with each DLC and digital expansion.
