Walkerwheel 350 electric unicycle hands-on

There's more than one self-balancing electric unicycle here at CES 2015 – you didn't think you'd get away with only seeing one, did you? Here we're seeing the lesser-known KOEOK bring the heat with their Walkerwheel 350, a super simple vision for the future of self-transport. While we can't say too much about how well this beast is going to barrel down the road in the field, we can say this: we'd love to have one to get through this convention center with all speed.

This unit weighs in at 9.8KG – that's approximately 21 pounds, and not exactly light. It's silent, on the other hand, working entirely with electric power. Though the Las Vegas Convention Center is loud this week and we're not 100% certain this unicycle didn't make ANY noise, we certainly couldn't hear much, if anything.

Just like the other self-balancing electric unicycle we've seen this week – the Inmotion v3 (linked above) – the Walkerwheel 350 can reach speeds of 18 kilometers per hour – just above 11 miles per hour.

Unlike the Inmotion unicycle, this device doesn't run especially long ona single charge. Just about half of its competitor, actually, at 15-20km per full charge. This unit can handle a load of 120KG, around 264.5 pounds – not made the the biggest folks on the block, but sufficient for the average young person.

Pricing and release information have not yet been shared by KOEOK, but being as how they brought their machine to CES 2015, we can make an educated stab at at least minor international market spread sooner than later.

Stick around for more CES 2015 oddities through the rest of the week – we've only just begun!
