Titanfall down, Xbox Live compute outage live

There's a bit of a problem going on with Xbox Live Compute at the moment, and Titanfall is feeling the pain. Logging on to the service this morning results in your ability to get in several levels down to the point where you'd select the type of game you play. At that point, you'll just wait, and wait, and wait.

According to Respawn Entertainment, Microsoft is aware of the Xbox Live Compute outage and is working on the problem as we speak. For now you'll have to twiddle your thumbs and/or read about how Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is going to produce a game with more than a couple of Titanfall features – according to our first guide, that is.

This outage for Xbox Live is currently affecting both the Xbox and Xbox One-based Titanfall and the PC-based Titanfall. While the two universes do not overlap in the game, they rely on the same technology and servers to remain online. When one goes, the other goes.

You'll also want to have a peek at our vast Titanfall tag portal for more information on the game than you could possibly want. At the moment there's no knowing when you'll be able to play – but by all likelihood, you'll have matchmaking back by this afternoon.
