Galaxy Note 20 leak says Samsung’s back to fan-favorites

Galaxy Note 20 leak says Samsung’s back to fan-favorites

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 was tipped today to be coming with a flat display. That might not seem like a big deal to you if you've not been using Galaxy Note devices for the past half-decade or more - especially if you've never tried to use a stylus on a display with curved edges. But if you have used a Galaxy Note with what they call an "Infinity Display" with curved edges, you might well know how annoying it can be to keep... falling off the edges.

Lockscreen ads tipped for Samsung phones: What it could mean for you

A rumor today suggested Samsung is considering (or low-key implementing) advertisements on One UI, their iteration of Android for Galaxy phones. Per the tip, Samsung would follow the lead of such low-cost smartphone maker tactics as those initiated by brands such as Vivo, Realme, Xiaomi, and Amazon. Amazon's method of implementation is the most likely business model Samsung would follow - if it's all true.

RedMagic 5G Review : More gamer now than phone

RedMagic 5G Review : More gamer now than phone

The gaming phone RedMagic 5G is effectively a collection of the most interesting gaming technology yet offered on a phone, jammed in the body of a very optimistic handset. This device feels like it was made by a company that had the opportunity to take chances. Unlike other devices I'd classify as niche, the Red Magic 5G includes features that I would not expect on a device that's priced this (relatively) low.

Get ready for the iPhone 12 super cycle

This may be the year of the fabled iPhone super-cycle. With the release of the iPhone 12 family of devices, analysts have predicted that Apple may hit on a key moment in the history of smartphone ownership. That's not to say that the new iPhone collection will have any sort of feature set that'll blow away previous devices, but the combination of just-good-enough features and a massive number of iPhone users in a prime position to upgrade have made for ideal sales conditions.

The OnePlus Z, as it's called, was reported to be shown for the first time to the public on July 10, 2020. The only unfortunate bit about this leak of an exact date for reveal is the location - it'll likely be limited to India at first launch. The release date for the rest of the world is still up in the air.
