SlashGear Evening Wrap-Up: April 3, 2012

Happy Tuesday, everyone. It’s time to take a whirlwind tour of what made headlines on SlashGear today. For starters, Nooka Audio is coming from Barnes & Noble soon. On the gaming side of things, we’re talking Wii U, which contends power as great as PS3 and Xbox 360. Speaking of power, let’s talk about Google. We got a look at what is rumored to be a picture of Google’s Nexus tablet, though it’s probably bogus. Still cool though.

Featured: We’ve got a couple mobile stories in the featured category today. First up is Android and a review of a long-overdue addition to the platform – it’s our Instagram for Android review. And second, check out this piece of cool – Spigen GLAS.t for The new iPad Pre-production Hands-on. Good stuff, right? Good stuff. Moving on to the other stories that made news:

Talking TVs, Macbook Pro, & Smartphon WiFi: Do people actually use the WiFi feature on their smartphone? It depends on what kind of smartphone they have – iPhone WiFi obsession leaves Android hogging 3G. If you happen to be on the Apple side of things, this will get your juices going – Macbook Pro 15-inch production to start April 13. And finally, we saved the best for last. Who wants to be a couch potato? LG sets date for voice-control smart TV.
