Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire demo detailed for USA

This week we've had a look at a few different ways users will be able to get their hands on the Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Demo – but before today, no USA-based details were available. Today we get word from the Pokemon company that the USA version of the Demo will be released on the 21st of October, just a few days after Japan and the UK get in on the fun. This version of the game will come to Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS systems, both at once.

Users will be able to obtain a serial code that will then be used in the Nintendo eShop inside the 2DS or 3DS for a special download of the Demo of Pokemon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. Here's what you need to do – if you live in the USA, that is:

1. Obtain a Pokémon Trainer Club account from Pokemon dot com – at no cost, of course, by the 19th of October, 2014.2. Receive the October 21st newsletter.3. Find the Special Demo Version serial code (in the newsletter).4. Open your Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS and head to the Nintnedo eShop where you'll be able to enter the code and begin download of the Special Demo Version.

If you already have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, you'll only have to wait for the November 21st newsletter. Chomping at the bit!

Inside these Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Versions we've discovered that you may have the ability to battle Sceptile, Blaziken, or Swampert – each with a possibility of a Mega evolution right off the bat.

The MEGA evolutions of Letios and Latias have been revealed this week as well – have a peek at both of them above. Also though we'd already caught glimpses of them before, the Pokemon company have confirmed that Mega Pidgeot and Mega Beedrill will indeed be making their presence known soon.
