Parks and Rec final season trailer shows drone-filled future

Welcome to the future! Parks and Rec's final season is nearly upon us, and with it, we'll be getting a look at the future of our Earth. In the trailer you're about to see, Leslie and Ben are living in their new house together, Tom Haverford is a mogul, and Andy Dwyer has his own TV show. There are drones flying around with packages, too – just like Amazon predicted! And there are see-through tablets, too – it's a terrifying world out there!

Below you'll see the first teaser trailer for the final season of Parks and Recreation. This will be the 7th season of the show and has been confirmed to be the last by NBC. There will be 13 episodes in all, and filming was completed earlier this December.

Things are very different now for the actors in Parks and Recreation than they were back when the show stared in April of 2009. Aziz Ansari has several stand-up specials and is one of only a handful of comedians to headline a session at Madison Square Garden.

Aubrey Plaza has been in Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Safety Not Guaranteed, Life After Beth, and Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever (as the voice of Grumpy Cat.) Nick Offerman's popularity as a cult ion has skyrocketed, and his Ron Swanson character has brought hims a Television Critics Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy.

Both Nick Offerman and Chris Pratt starred in The LEGO Movie. Chris Pratt also became super popular as a lead actor in his role as Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy – he's about to star in Jurassic World, too.
