Having heard yesterday that Vodafone UK would be offering the new BlackBerry Torch 9800, rival Orange UK has now thrown its own hat into the cellular ring. The company has tweeted that it too will be offering the new sliding touchscreen BlackBerry, though as with Vodafone there’s no sign of a release date at present.
The Torch 9800 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS, along with UMTS/HSPA and GPS. There’s also a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash, microSD card slot and the newest version of RIM’s platform, BlackBerry 6.
