Next Google Nexus detailed in black, ready for Android Nougat

Specifications have come together this week to form a device that'll likely be Google's next HTC-made Nexus smartphone. Or two smartphones. It could very well be that Google's next set of Nexus smartphones, nicknamed Sailfish and Marlin, will look very similar to one another in most respects. One will be the larger, the other the more standard-sized phone, and here's what they look like.

The image shown here is obviously showing one phone, not two. The back and front of this one phone are shown up close and personal. This device is made with a rendering program, one used by Android Police to create a device that they believe adds up after all the details they've been privy to.

Made by HTC, we can't help but think they're probably correct. Front and back are plain, unassuming, the back has a mostly-metal panel and looks like a cross between an HTC 10 and an HTC Desire device, with a big glass or plastic panel to boot.
