New X-Files show teased in pair of TV trailers

The new X-Files show is nearing, and Fox decided to tease eager fans last night, dropping a pair of TV trailers during Minority Report and Gotham. The two teasers go together, with the second picking up where the last one left off — all in all, it provides a little over a minute's look at the show's revival. More than a couple familiar faces appear during the trailers, as well as the iconic poster, whistled jingle, and promise that the truth is still out there.

The two trailers were combined into one in the video below. The first brings up Mulder largely, who says his personal obsession never ended, and now he's close to something. He says he can't do it all alone, though, and that's where Scully comes in — we see her phone ring at the end of the first trailer.

The second trailer (the latter half of the video) draws Scully's involvement into the mix — their personalities are as strong as ever, and overall the show looks like a promising revival. This is our first look at the show following the teaser trailer Fox released back in July; that trailer had only a couple seconds of footage from the new series, which we see expanded upon in the new trailer.
