Microsoft's E3 2012 Xbox keynote video goes live

Microsoft didn't stint on news in its E3 2012 media briefing, with fresh content deals, game previews and Xbox SmartGlass on show among other things, and now you can re-watch the whole event. The near-2hr video runs through all of the new Xbox 360 game demos, including Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, as well as outlining Microsoft's new multi-screen strategy.

That strategy is built around the new Xbox SmartGlass system. Set to go live this fall, with apps for Windows 8 PCs, Windows Phone, iOS and Android, it will turn mobile devices and computers into impromptu remotes and secondary screens.

Meanwhile, a new internet browser for the Xbox 360 will put the web on your big-screen TV, with a phone or tablet repurposed as a remote for URL entry and navigation. Microsoft will also open up SmartGlass to third-party developers.

There's plenty more than that, however, and if you've been eagerly awaiting Microsoft's next batch of Xbox games then you'll probably want to be checking out the keynote video.
