HP Pavilion dm1 packs E-350 AMD Fusion APU

HP has unveiled one of their first AMD Fusion APU based notebooks, the HP Pavilion dm1, an 11.6-inch ultraportable using the E-350 dual-core 1.6GHz processor, Radeon HD 6310M graphics and a 320GB hard-drive. The Pavilion dm1 has a 1366 x 768 display, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and gigabit ethernet, as well as up to 8GB of RAM (3GB standard), and while it may look like a netbook there's still an HDMI output for Full HD video.

Other connectivity includes three USB 2.0 ports, VGA, audio in/out and a multi-format memory card reader. There's also Dolby Advanced Audio with Altec Lansing speakers, a webcam and a 6-cell battery which HP reckon is good for up to 9hrs and 30 minutes of runtime.

Impressive stuff, considering the $449.99 RRP when the Pavilion dm1 lands in the US on January 9 2011. The company will apparently also be offering optional GPS and an optional external Blu-ray drive on certain SKUs.
