Honor 6X smartphone arrives in Target stores across the US

The budget-friendly Honor 6X Android smartphone has just launched in Target stores across the nation, giving consumers a new option for picking up Huawei's $249 phone. This handset boasts some premium features, though it isn't going to compete with the flagship handsets on the market. Among other things, the Honor 6X features a full-metal body alongside a large 5.5-inch Full HD display and curved rear aluminum panel.Honor 6X Review: The $249 promise

The Honor 6X is now available to purchase in 460 Target stores across the United States. Talking about this, Honor USA's Vice President Zack Zhang said, "As more consumers learn about the value of unlocked phones, we couldn't be happier that the Honor 6X will be available at Target."

The Honor 6X has a clean, sleek, though not particularly premium design, boasting features that include 2.5D glass on the front of the handset and an overall slim body. The camera is one big focus with this Android phone, which offers a dual-lens rear setup offering up to a 12-megapixel resolution. As we noted in our review (above), the Honor 6X produces decent photos with the same bokeh effect we've seen on other dual-camera phones.

Camera aside, the Honor 6X features a Kirin 655 octa-core processor, 32GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot with support for capacities up to 128GB. This is joined by a 3340mAh battery that is able to last up to two full days on a charge, though that, of course, depends on how you use the phone. The handset is priced at $249 USD.
