Galaxy Tab S4 leaked in full: 256GB, DeX, S Pen

Best Buy just leaked the entirety of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5 tablet in multiple forms. This new tablet rolls with a 10.5-inch display, as you might imagine, with a form that's not entirely unlike the S3. This time, though, we've got a bunch of accessories that've been upgraded along with the innards of the tablet, making this a whole new ballgame.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5 employs the newest version of DeX – that's Samsung's Android-based desktop mode – complete with a new way to activate. Where in previous versions of DeX, the device needed an external display, here that's no longer true. With the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, users can tap into DeX on the tablet itself with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 keyboard cover.

This device comes with a 10.5-inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and Android 8.0 Oreo right out the box. This device connects with USB-C and has a couple different options for internal storage size. The cheaper version of this unit has 64GB internal storage, while the more expensive version has 256GB, and both versions have a microSD slot for storage expansion.

In the box is the tablet, a power adapter, a Quick Start Guide, S Pen, and a USB-C 3.1 cable. The keyboard spoken about above will be sold separately. Up front is an 8-megapixel camera, and around back is a 13-megapixel camera. ALL SPECS in the gallery below.

Much like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, this device sports "Bixby Vision 2.0" which means it's smart. Real smart. It'll be able to identify things it sees and tell the user what it sees and work with the content it sees in many different ways.

This tablet has what Best Buy described as "far-field mics" – which we must assume means more than one, possibly several. These mics are to be used with Google Assistant, said the Best Buy listing, though I can't help but think Samsung would rather you use Bixby – but we'll see!

This tablet was listed with Best Buy in two different colors – gray and black. There were two different internal storage sizes available, one 64GB, the other 256GB, and two different prices: $649.99 and $749.99. Both versions will be available on August 10th, 2018. These listings were located by WinFuture's Roland Quandt and shared on Twitter this morning. Have a peek at our Galaxy Tab S3 review for more info on how this tablet line fared so far.
