Battlefield Hardline beta 2015 starts February 3rd

This morning Visceral Games announced that the next release of Battlefield Hardline will be in the form of a new Beta. Visceral Games suggests that "we consider this to be a real beta – we need your feedback on balance, economy, and to help identify and iron out the last remaining bugs." This beta will be open to all those who wish to participate on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. There won't be any cross-play action between PC and game consoles, but there may be cross-pollination between console generations.

Requirements for PC have not yet been listed, but Visceral has suggested that "if you PC can run BF4 it should have a problem with Hardline." Minimum requirements, therefore, are as follows:

OS: WINDOWS VISTA SP2 32-BIT (WITH KB971512 PLATFORM UPDATE)

PROCESSOR: AMD ATHLON X2 2.8 GHZ, INTEL CORE 2 DUO 2.4 GHZ

MEMORY: 4 GB

GRAPHICS CARD: AMD RADEON HD 3870, NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GT

GRAPHICS MEMORY: 512 MB

HARD DRIVE: 30 GB

Visceral suggests that they've "don't a lot of work in the last 9 months, so you're going to have to download a whole new version. Old beta clients won't work." The last time we got to play Battlefield Hardline was June of 2014.

A new trailer for the game has been posted as well. This is a January 2015 trailer for the Battlefield Hardline Beta.

This latest Beta run will last from February 3rd until February 8th, 2015. Latest word on final release for this game for all platforms in the United States was March 17th, 2015.
