Battlefield 1 PC requirements revealed, GTX 1060 or RX 480 recommended

We're almost exactly a month out from the release of Battlefield 1, and PC players who didn't participate in the recent multiplayer beta are almost certainly wondering what kind of rig they'll need to run the game. Electronic Arts and DICE have unleashed those details, and unsurprisingly, you'll need a relatively beefy PC to run Battlefield 1 as it is intended.

You'll want at least a GeForce GTX 660 2GB or a Radeon HD 7850 2GB working in tandem with either an Intel Core i5 6600K or an AMD FX-6350. While those are pretty affordable specifications, keep in mind those are the lowest-tier CPUs and GPUs that will run Battlefield 1. Regardless of what kind of setup you're running, you'll need 50GB of free space and 8GB of RAM, though to get the most out of Battlefield 1, 16GB of RAM will be required.

Battlefield 1 ended up being the largest beta in EA's history, showing that players are definitely interested in this new World War 1 shooter. Electronic Arts also recently detailed the Season Pass for Battlefield 1, and it looks like players will have to plop down quite a bit of cash to get the full experience. Battlefield 1 is due out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 21.
