ASUS Eee PC 1005HA gets product page, full specs

ASUS' latest super-skinny netbooks, the Eee PC 1005HA series, have now got their own product page, after launching late last week.  The listing confirms that the 1005HA will slot into the "Seashell" range, as with the 1008HA, and have user-replaceable batteries and a choice of Intel Atom N270 or N280 processors.

Other variations include either a 1.3-megapixel or 0.3-megapixel webcam, a choice of either Windows XP or GNU Linux, and a choice of colors: white, black, pink or blue.  Standard connectivity includes WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and ethernet, together with three USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, audio in/out and a MMC/SD(SDHC) card reader.

Three batteries will be on offer, from a 3-cell 2.2Ah (23W/h) pack rather for 4hrs, to two 6-cell packs, one 2.2Ah (48W/h) good for 8.5hrs runtime and another, 2.8Ah (63W/h) which delivers a claimed 10.5hrs.  Weight with the smallest battery is 1.1kg, while the 6-cell packs push that up to 1.27kg.

No US prices or availability details for the 10-inch netbooks as yet, but the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-M (with the N270) will be priced at €299 ($405) while the Eee PC 1005HA-H (with the N280) will come in at €349 ($473) when they launch in France by the end of July.
