Apple iPad Pro begins online sales November 11, in stores later this week

Following its big debut in September, the question on everyone's mind about the new iPad Pro has been when it will go on sale. Well, Apple has answered that for us today, and the wait will be a short one. Online orders for the 12.9-inch tablet will begin this Wednesday, November 11th. The company adds that the device will be arriving in stores later in the week, without specifying an exact date, however, by Friday seems like a safe assumption.

"The early response to iPad Pro from app developers and our customers has been incredible, and we're excited to get iPad Pro into the hands of customers around the world this week," Apple's marketing head Philip Schiller said in the release announcement. November 11th will also see the new iPad Pro accessories, the Apple Pencil stylus and the Smart Keyboard, available for ordering online.

Along with 12.9-inch Retina display, the iPad Pro features several other impressive specs, including a four-speaker layout, 4GB of Ram with Apple's new A9X processor, and a 8-megapixel camera on the rear. The extra-large tablet will be available in Apple's three now-standard colors of space gray, silver, and gold.

Pricing for the iPad Pro starts at $799 for 32GB of storage and WiFi connectivity only, 128GB with WiFi is priced at $949, while the most expensive option includes 128GB of storage with both WiFi and cellular for $1,079. As for accessories, the pressure-sensitive Apple Pencil is $99, the Smart Keyboard is $169, and there will also be two standard covers available: a Smart Cover for $59 and a silicone case for $79, both in charcoal gray or white.
