Acer Aspire 1410 (aka 1810T) on sale in US now

Acer's latest ultraportable notebook, the Aspire 1410 – the US version of the Timeline 1810T – has shown up for sale at CostCentral.  Priced at a reasonable $460.33, the 11.6-inch 1,366 x 768 notebook packs an Intel CULV 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo SU3500 processor and 2GB of RAM into a slimline casing strikingly similar to that of the Acer Aspire One 751h we reviewed yesterday.

There's also a 250GB hard-drive, GMA 4500MHD graphics, WiFi a/b/g/n, gigabit ethernet and a 5-in-1 memory card reader, together with webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and VGA video outputs, stereo/SPDIF audio outputs and a microphone input.  The standard 6-cell Li-ion battery is rated for up to 6hrs runtime.

Frankly we're far more enthused about the Acer Aspire 1410-8414 than we were about the 751h; the CULV processor isn't going to threaten your workstation, but it should be capable of powering the 720p HD video that the notebook's display is screaming out for.  The Sapphire Blue model is in stock, unlike the Ruby Red and Diamond Black versions.
