Are you a die-hard coffee snob who can't go without a high-quality espresso? If so, then you know just how important the ritual of pulling the perfect shot can be. Making your machine run perfectly or getting an espresso made just the way you like it can require a lot of espresso gadgets, and that's where legendary knife craftsman Victorinox is hoping to make life a little easier.

Released in collaboration with espresso machine maker La Marzocco, Victorinox has released a brand-new variation of its iconic Swiss Army Knife, the Victorinox x La Marzocco Barista Tool. It looks like the classic multi-tool you know and love, but with the addition of the La Marzocco logo on the body. There are also two unique tools: a 12-millimeter Nozzle Remover for removing or adjusting the steam tip on your espresso machine, and a Coffee Spatula for removing the basket from your machine's portafilter for cleaning.

So far, the tool appears to be a hit. There are only 10 reviews as of this writing, but nine of them are glowing, five-star reviews praising the tool's design and quality. (The tenth review expressed frustration with getting a damaged product and not being able to get a replacement due to stock issues).

Victorinox x La Marzocco Barista Tool is everything you need for coffee (and more)

If you're excited about a Victorinox-branded knife with a whole slew of barista-focused tools, well, don't get too excited just yet. The reality of the matter is that this features a lot of the same tools as a classic Swiss Army Knife, though some marketing we found included tips on how to use them as part of daily barista duties. This includes opening bags with the large blade or cleaning tight spaces with the included toothpack.

The full list of tools included, in addition to the two unique barista tools, is a large and small blade, a corkscrew, a can opener, a bottle opener, a wire stripper, a reamer, a punch, a sewing awl, combination pliers, a toothpick, tweezers, and screwdrivers in 1.5, 3, and 6-millimeter sizes. You'll also get a lifetime warranty on the product. What is unusual for this model is the price. The Victorinox x La Marzocco Barista Tool will set you back an eye-watering $145. Compare this to the similarly equipped 15-function Huntsman, which will only set you back $52.

There's also the issue of availability. The Victorinox x La Marzocco Barista Tool is proving to be in high demand and is unavailable for purchase online as of this writing. However, the website does offer a store locator, so you may get lucky and find one near you.
