ZTE Blade Max 3 phablet launches at US Cellular

Joining the ZTE Max XL launched at Boost Mobile earlier today is another ZTE handset, this one arriving at US Cellular. The ZTE Blade Max 3 is a phablet with a 6-inch Full HD display and massive 4,000mAh battery able to get users through an entire day without charging. The phone is modestly priced at $199, and US Cellular is offering it with an optional device payment plan for 30 months.

The ZTE Blade Max 3 has a somewhat plain style with a couple of notable features, namely dual cameras on the back, a fingerprint sensor, and support for 4G LTE. The display size is arguably one of the top features, giving users ample display real estate alongside a decent Full HD 1080p resolution. Under the hood lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor.

The phone features 16GB of internal storage space that can be expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card. The internal 4,000mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of talk time, according to ZTE, as well as up to 31 days of standby time. Overall, the handset is quite slim at only 0.35-inches wide; it weighs a svelte 7.1 ounces.

Adding to the notable features is the inclusion of USB-C for charging; there's also the promise of 'high-fidelity' audio, a 13-megapixel dual-rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and Bluetooth 4.2. Finally, there's GPS, dual-band WiFi, the regular array of sensors including gyro/compass/hall/light/proximity, and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.

U.S. Cellular is an increasingly popular carrier with a decent lineup of phones, including some flagship handsets like the Galaxy S8. The ZTE Blade Max 3 can be purchased outright, as mentioned, or it can be financed for $10/month for 30 months, $12.50/month for 24 months, or $15/month for 20 months. That is on top of the monthly plan cost, of course.
