If you've yet to jump aboard the PlayStation VR train, you might want to have a look at new deals from Amazon and GameStop. Both companies have special offers on PlayStation VR at the moment, allowing you to pick up required hardware for a little less money. Though not a discount in the traditional sense, this is still a deal worth considering.
You'll still be spending $400 to take home a PlayStation VR, but with this offer, you'll get a free PlayStation Camera to go along with it. The PlayStation Camera is necessary in order to use PlayStation VR, so you're getting some essential equipment at no extra cost here. Not bad, even though it may not be the ideal offer for someone who already has a PlayStation Camera sitting around.
With this bundle, you're saving $60 over the cost of buying both items separately. Don't expect to be able to walk into a GameStop store and walk out with a PS Camera and PSVR for this price, though – the retailer says that this is an online-only deal. For what it's worth, Amazon is still offering the PSVR launch bundle – which comes with the headset, two PS Move controllers, the PlayStation Camera, and a copy of PS Worlds for $500 – though shipping on that seems to be delayed by a couple of weeks.

So, if you don't have any hardware and you're looking to get going with PlayStation VR as quickly as possible, this is probably your best bet. PlayStation VR has proven to be fairly popular with PS4 players, and that's likely due to the fact that it's one of the least expensive ways to get going with virtual reality games.
After all, Oculus Rift and HTC VIVE are both a fair bit more expensive, and they require a powerful PC to boot. PlayStation VR, on the other hand, only requires hardware a lot of people already have, and those who own a PlayStation 4 Pro can look forward to an even more impressive experience with PSVR.
