Volvo S60 Polestar Engineered teaser videos shows off sexy front end

Fans Volvo cars that have a performance bent are looking forward to June 20 when Volvo officially unveils the all-new S60. That range will include a Polestar Engineered version that we talked about earlier this month. Ahead of that official launch on the 20th, Volvo has posted a teaser to Facebook that focuses mainly on the front end of the car.

The car certainly looks nice in the video that is very short and shows the S60 from the front. The grille of the car is very nice looking and if you want to see more, a video of a silver car seen from a birds-eye view is below as well. The Polestar Engineered version of the S60 will sit above the T8 Twin Engine spec R-Design in the lineup.

We have seen images in the past that show that snazzy grille will have a Polestar badge adorning it. Word is that the Polestar version of the S60 will move from the stock 400hp rating to 415hp with a gain in torque from 472 lb-ft to 494 lb-ft.

The clip was posted to Facebook over the weekend and it also shows the red color that will launch on the car. Volvo wasn't known in the past as a performance car company, but Polestar has certainly helped change that.

Polestar started as a tuner for Volvo models along the lines of AMG. Polestar has since branched out and is launching its own electric supercar to battle Tesla. It's nice that Polestar is still at least part of some performance models for Volvo.
