Verizon BlackBerry Storm launching November 21st for $199.99

Verizon have confirmed that the BlackBerry Storm will launch in the US on Friday, November 21st. Priced from $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, the RIM smartphone will require a minimum two-year agreement.

The Storm is a handset of firsts: not only is it RIM's first touchscreen device, using a system called ClickThrough, it's also Verizon's first 3G device capable of working worldwide.  You can see our review roundup here.

With a 480 x 360 display, 1GB of integrated storage (and an 8GB card in the box), RIM are positioning the Storm not only as a messaging handset as they are known for, but as a media device as well.  Verizon's information page about the Storm can be found here.
